This dance is a dance welcoming the guests of honor at festivities State/village in Central Maluku. Generally describe the mood of joy from the whole of society to the arrival of the guest of honor at the State/village, and became the phrase Welcome Dance.

Combination floor patterns and movement and music rhythm further strengthen the expression of how the entire community of State/local village feel very pleased with the presence of guest of honor at the State / their village.

This dance uses the property “gaba-gaba” (the stalks of sago trees / sago palm as a food typical of the people of  Maluku and Maluku in the dialect called “keep the sago”) With a traditional musical instrument of the people of Maluku, namely: Tifa, Bamboo Flute, Ukulele, and guitar.
